Dear Eirik,
Bill got married last week and is on his honeymoon. I am handling some of his email. I am sorry to hear that you don’t like the color of your seat covers. From everything I can tell the leather color used on the center parts of your seats is the Carmine Red. That is how it was put into production and those pictures you sent look like Carmine Red. It is not like there are a whole lot of other red colors it could be. It does appear that the dyelot has a little more pink to it than normal, but unfortunately, we can’t really completely control that. I think I should mail you some samples our current Carmine Red leather so that you can verify whether it is the correct color before we proceed further.
As far as the two-tone style goes, did you order this over email or phone? If it was email do you have a record of requesting two-tone COMBO specifically?
All of that said, seeing the actual pictures of your car I am not sure why you went with the Carmine Red. The paint on your is fairly bright, and Carmine Red is not really that bright. It does appear somewhat bright in that picture of the E30 BMW seats that Bill sent to you, but it is certainly not as bright as your paint. Photos can definately be deceiving. Not that Bill was trying to deceive you, but it’s just that factors such as lighting, monitor settings, etc. can really affect our perception of color. I am going to take a picture of all of our standard Red leather colors along with the special order Carmine Red leather and email that over to you first thing tomorrow.
Best Regards,
Eric
