Her er noe jeg fant på imoc.co.uk. Det er beskrivelser for hvordan man kan sjekke etter slitasje som eventuelt kan føre til bankelyder.
Denne kan kanskje egne seg som sticky?

Peter Gidden - sbITs skrev: top mounts - jack up car, put bar under wheel, lift and drop bar whilst finger is on top mount nut under front bonnet. Any play will result in nut lifting. Turn lock to lock, and feel nut for grinding etc. Definitive method is remove strut and inspect top mount.
ball joints - when lifted, the bottom arm and strut bar is trying to lift, so with wheel off, lever control arm down whilst feeling for play in ball joint. Definitive method is to remove both bolts from ball joint to hub and feel for play in your hand.
drop links - grab hold of bar and forcibly wiggle up and down. You will normally be able to hear droplink joints rattle.
ARB bushes - undo ARB bracket, remove and check rubber bush. Many have an aluminium block moulded into the bush which wears through and knocks against the chassis.
ARB mounting points under the brackets - remove bracket, pull bar away from chassis, and check the chassis for cracks or splits. Common on Rev1 & 2.
spring coils - with a torch, look up into the wheel arch. Binding will show tell tale wear lines on the bottom edge of the coils. Progessive rate aftermarket springs often do this. Remove spring, slide on pieces of hose pipe to act as insulators, and refit.
struts - if all the above has revealed nothing wrong, i'll substitute struts with a spare pair and road test. Often disappears when struts have got going, especially cold mornings. Bilsteins are main culprits!
