Hot-Chili skrev:Yes, but the 3VZ-FE engine is famous, it use only the old OBDI diagnostic system and is very fair with tuning, you can remove the EGR, use very big injectors and get no problems.
The engine ECU use the biggest maps Denso ever make.
And the engine is very overbuild at the crank and bearings.

I will make perhaps next year a new engine lid from Makrolon, but this is a new project, first I will finish the V6.

Sounds good :) Looking forward to see how the car will be like when it is finished ;)

Hot-Chili skrev:I don´t know because I don´t fit him today.
But you must bring the MR2 catalytic converter under the engine to fit the TT Exhaust.
It would be grate if you post a video/sound clip, with the TT exhaust 8)

Hot-Chili skrev:Yes, I will make this.
Now I drive a Remus exhaust from my old 3S-GE on my V6 this sounds wonderfull deep and not to loud.
very nice :) Looking forward to it.

I drive with a stainless mongoose exhaust on my gti, and i know what you mean with "wonderful sound" ;)

But fittin' Audi-parts on a Toyota is like swearing in church, if U'll ask me... :?

How about make one your self from stainless steel...??

I do only practicable tuning things, I buy this exhaust 6 month old at ebay for 150€, it is very light wheigt, and very flat so its perfect for me.

Selfmade exhaust are not realy allowed in germany, you must make an noise test, this cost around 2500€ here.

All this rules.. yeah yeah, we just have to obey them..

I think the idea with the TT-exhaust is brilliant and "new thinking". And it looks good as i can see from the pictures so far.

I think most MR2 parts are to expensive and if we will give the MR2 a new live the next 10 years, we must find alternative parts who can be payed from everyone.
The Toyota replace parts are so very expensive, that many people can´t buy them.
The TT exhaust cost new from Audi dealer 525€ the MR2 original exhaust cost 1200€!!! (Only the catalytic converter cost now 900€)
There are today only a few MR2 in germany: W1 = 668 / W2 = 2427. Last year there are over 3000 W2 but many people here don´t have the money to pay the fuel
and the taxes/insurance, so they bring there MR2 to the garage and drive no longer.
And 90% of the turbo drivers have problems with there engine an can not drive...thats why I love the V6 engine!

My next project within 5 years will be a 100% electric engine inside the MR2 with a plug-in system like the new Prius get it too.
I think we must pay 3€ a liter fuel in 5 years and get very hard problems in citys with the old MR2 engines.
And 250hp and 400Nm from 0-10.000rpm with 1,50€ "fuel" costs for 100km will be not the badest compromise.. :D

Wow.. You really have big plans :D I like it ;)

This new project with the electric mr2. Shall you build it from a another mr2 or from the mr2 v6? maybe it is a stupid question, but i just have to ask ;) I can just imagine the mix with a electric and a v6 in a mr2 :) 8)

Hot-Chili skrev:No, this will be a 100% electric car with big battery.
I will through out the full tank an put there the battery, they will be in 5 years so good to reach 400-500km without stop.
But this is in the future, today I like the V6. :D
I see. Shall you build a new mr2 then? So you get both v6 and a el-mr2?

Do you know how much hp you can get out from the el-mr2?
