After some problems with login I write you a litle bit about me!

I has found your owners group about member Dr.Ling who write some in our german forum http://www.mr2forum.de

In germany many MR2 drivers know me, because I´am very active in german forum and I engineering much of parts for MR2 MK1/2 and 3

Last 6 month I build up my 91 MR2 complete new.
- New Color Mercedes black
- New cabletree vom 93 MR2
- Big Brake vom 92 MR2
- Rust-resistant medium for ground and hollow
- all screws changed against stainless-steel
- New frontbumper 92+
- Cockpit complete with Alcantara and piano-color
- all windows new
- all seals new Targa and other
- all parts are zinc and/or powder color
- radio antenna from mercedes SLK under rear bumper
- and many other

The last 3 years I have make:
- 94 175hp engine
- colorless engine hood
-

The next days I will make
- new seatbelts
- new wheels 17" front and 18" back
- new race seats
- rear hood electric

I guess you see mr2 as a new car, heh... :D Since you built it up from scratch.... :wink:

I liked in particular the transprent engine hood! Nice!!

Niiiice car!! I really loved the interior and the engine hood (although this might be to "bling bling"... :)

Yes is was very much hard work!
Only to build car together I need 2 months!
The Alcantara needs 100 hours of handwork!

I will load up new pictures when car is ready in 2-3 weeks!

First of all: Welcome to the forum! 8)
Nice car you’ve got there! Judging from the pictures it was quite an extensive project too. While scrolling trough the pictures, the first thought that occurred to me was: “damn.. This dude has too much time on his hands!” It seems to have turned out pretty well though!
The plexi glass solution was pretty original and impressive. Not something I would have done though, but at least now you have a car that is one in a thousand..

Are you a Toyota technician? I couldn’t help noticing the fact that you’re wearing the Toyota logo on the pictures? assuming that it is you in the pictures that is.. 8)

Wow! What an impressive car you've built up! I love it, especially the alcantara interior - it is simply awesome. Really looking forward to the new pictures!
